Christian theology is the systematic, rational, and critical study of the Christian faith, God, and His relationship with humanity and the world.
Drawing primarily from sacred texts (the Bible), Church tradition, and spiritual experience, it seeks to understand, structure, and explain Christian doctrines and mysteries, such as the Trinity or the Incarnation. It is classically defined as “faith seeking understanding” (fides quaerens intellectum).
