The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) has received an unusual report from Macon County, Georgia. A couple driving from Sapphire Valley to Highlands claim to have encountered a large, mysterious creature.

According to their account, the car in front of them came to an abrupt stop, revealing the reason: “a large black figure with long arms and dark hair” that appeared suddenly on the road. The creature then leapt easily over the guardrail before vanishing from sight. The first vehicle quickly drove away, preventing the witnesses from comparing experiences.

A BFRO investigator noted that the area where North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia converge has long been known as a hotspot for similar reports. After interviewing the couple, he found them credible and concluded that the creature “could only have been a sasquatch.”

In his words, this region remains a true “sweet spot for sasquatch sightings”—an alliteration that may well qualify as the phrase of the week.
