On Saturday 20 April 1929, a mysterious flashing light appeared over lonely districts of Hopkins Creek and Numinbah, in Murwillumbah, a town in far north-eastern New South Wales, Australia.
Some people spotted an unexplained will-o'-the-wisp dancing in the sky in night. Sometimes it disappears before reappear in another spot a few seconds later. This unidentified flying object has been visible over roads, paddocks and houses.
At that time, witnesses believed that was a devilish ghost come to haunt them. But right now in retrospect another explanation could be possible. In fact, by reading reports of inhabitants, we can think that was a UFO.
