A new unidentified flying object sighting was reported on May 3rd near the town of Noblesville, Indiana. According to testimony collected by the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), two witnesses driving in the rural areas around Noblesville observed a strange aerial phenomenon around 11:30 PM.

The two witnesses claim to have suddenly seen appear in front of them in the night sky a very bright circular or oval-shaped green object. The object reportedly moved at a speed qualified as "at least thousands of miles per hour" before abruptly changing direction to quickly speed away and disappear.

A notable element of the testimony is the description of a halo or aura around the green object. Estimations on the size remain vague, with the witnesses comparing it to a large boulder. The estimated distance was around one thousand feet (300 meters) at an elevation angle of 65 degrees from the horizontal.

Intrigued, the two drivers unsuccessfully attempted to observe the phenomenon again on their way back. The main American UFO study center has so far not provided an explanation for this mysterious event, but has recorded this new credible testimony in its archives.

Such UFO sightings remain frequent around the world, fueling the debate about the possibility of visitations by extraterrestrial intelligences or the existence of atmospheric phenomena still unexplained by science.
