The image of a witch riding a broomstick has long belonged to Hollywood imagination. Yet, a woman in France claims to have witnessed a real-life version of this scene. From her apartment window, she recorded a video showing what she described as a “strange humanoid figure” hovering in the sky.

Unlike the usual depictions, where the witch darts swiftly through the clouds, the figure in question appeared motionless. This detail fueled a variety of interpretations. Some viewers suggested it could be proof of supernatural powers. Others, more skeptical, proposed down-to-earth explanations: an optical illusion, a drone, digital manipulation, or simply a hoax.

So far, there has been no official reaction from local authorities, government representatives, or the military. The event has not led to new testimonies or similar reports.

What remains is the striking image of an enigmatic silhouette against the sky. Had the flying house from The Wizard of Oz also appeared, identifying the phenomenon might have been easier.
