YouTube made the decision to ban all conspiracy theory videos that link Coronavirus and 5G networks after an interview with David Icke.

On Monday, the famous theorist was interviewed and the video was broadcast in live. The former footballer claimed there “is a link between 5G and this health crisis”.

A few minutes later, he answered a quest about 5G mats set on fire in England and Northern Ireland. He responded: “If 5G continues and reaches where they want to take it, human life as we know it is over... so people have to make a decision.”

According to Mr. Icke, the vaccine, when one is developed, would include a terrifying “nanotechnology microships”. This microship would allow to control all of humanity. He added that Bill Gates should be jailed because he helps to develop a Covid-19 vaccine.

About 65,000 viewed the video. Shortly after, YouTube removed the video. The spokeswoman for the Google-owned service explains:

We have clear policies that prohibit videos promoting medically unsubstantiated methods to prevent the coronavirus in place of seeking medical treatment, and we quickly remove videos violating these policies when flagged to us.

This includes conspiracy theories which claim that the symptoms are caused by 5G.”
