A new amateur video filmed during a thunderstorm on May 10th in Cairo is raising many questions. The footage, analyzed by ufology researcher Scott C. Waring, seems to show the sudden appearance of a disc-shaped object in the sky over the Egyptian capital.

According to the witness who shared the video on the MUFON platform, which catalogues UFO sightings, they were driving during a violent thunderstorm when a lightning bolt suddenly illuminated the sky. It was then that a disc-shaped object appeared progressively on the screen, literally materializing in front of the camera.

While some suggest the possibility of a simple windshield reflection, Scott C. Waring puts forth a completely different hypothesis. For him, this video could be proof of a centuries-old extraterrestrial presence in Egypt, particularly underneath the mythical Giza pyramids.

"Cairo, the cradle of ancient civilizations that built the pyramids, coupled with a powerful electrical storm, may have revealed a cloaked alien craft," states the renowned ufology researcher. "This would confirm the existence of an underground extraterrestrial base beneath the pyramids, which captures the energy from lightning bolts to recharge itself."

While this theory should obviously be taken with a grain of salt, the video is nonetheless fueling speculation about the origins of the pyramids and a possible extraterrestrial involvement in their construction - a recurring theory among some experts of the unexplained. One thing is certain, this new visual element is already sparking heated debates between supporters and skeptics on social media.
