On February 4, 2026, an unusual aerial sighting was reported to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), an organization dedicated to collecting and analyzing reports of unidentified aerial phenomena. The incident allegedly occurred at approximately 10:21 p.m. local time in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

According to the testimony, two individuals witnessed a luminous object moving across the night sky for about one minute. The primary observer stated that he had stepped outside to get some fresh air when he noticed three red lights arranged in a triangular formation, moving steadily toward the north.

Startled by the sight, he called his brother to come outside. Upon arriving, the second witness reportedly observed the same phenomenon, confirming the initial observation. Both described a triangular-shaped object emitting red light, surrounded by a faint glowing haze.

The object was reportedly seen at an elevation angle of approximately 40 degrees and at an estimated altitude of around 300 meters above ground level. Its speed was estimated at roughly 70 meters per second. Due to nighttime conditions, its exact size could not be determined.

No sound, exhaust trail, or other conventional aircraft indicators were noted. The object reportedly disappeared gradually as it continued northward.

At present, no official explanation has been provided for this event. As with many similar reports, potential explanations range from rare atmospheric phenomena to unidentified conventional aircraft, while more unconventional hypotheses cannot be entirely dismissed.
